Album Description

Sling is the second studio album from Clairo, released in 2021 through FADER Label and Republic Records. Moving away from some of the bedroom-pop and electronic elements of her earlier work, the album embraces a warmer and more organic sound influenced by folk, soft rock, and orchestral pop.

Written and recorded at Allaire Studios in upstate New York, Sling was co-produced by Clairo and Jack Antonoff. Its arrangements incorporate piano, acoustic and electric guitars, strings, woodwinds, keyboards, and other live instrumentation, creating an intimate and understated atmosphere.

The album includes “Blouse,” which features backing vocals from Lorde, as well as tracks such as “Amoeba,” “Zinnias,” “Wade,” and “Management.”
