2023 marks the 5 year anniversary since the pioneering music and arts collective 88rising released their inaugural crew album Head In The Clouds. In celebration of this landmark moment, 88rising presents a limited edition 2LP reissue of the album, pressed on premium Opaque Bone & White A-Side/B-Side colored vinyl. While all 88rising artists have excelled in their solo careers, they’ve always operated with a crew mentality and it’s with this collection that they were able to bring that to life. Representing 5 countries across Asia the crew–Rich Brian, Joji, Higher Brothers, NIKI, AUGUST 08, and Keith Ape–flew into Los Angeles to record the album for two and a half months in 2018, creating a chemistry that can be felt throughout. The album features standout hits “Midsummer Madness,” “History” and “Head In The Clouds” and A-List collaborations from Playboi Carti, GoldLink, 03 Greedo, BlocBoy JB, and Famous Dex among others.
